My Process

Step 1. RESTORE
The first phase is actually going to be focused on restoring health to your muscles. This typically involves stretching and manual therapies to nourish and hydrate the tissues.

Step 2. REBUILD
The next phase is rebuilding your pelvic foundation. Your pelvic floor is the support system that holds your trunk up so we need to make sure that you are confident in your strength.

Step 3. RETURN
The last phase is return to activity. Where we will spend time working on and practicing the life activities that you want to get back to, worry-free.

Hello! I’m Dr. Meaghan Staples, Doctor of Physical Therapy. I am a mom of two, an orthopedic turned pelvic floor physical therapist, and birth coach. I created Refine Physical Therapy to encourage women, like you, that you can always take action to heal your pelvic floor - at any age! My passion is helping you figure out the root cause of your pelvic dysfunction so that you can get back to loving life without restriction.

Leaking/Incontinence
